Research project “Women in Industry”, was developed in partnership with the Steppe Up advertising agency. The project is dedicated to International Women's Day. Through a comprehensive investigation combining labor market analysis, statistical research, and in-depth interviews, we explored the current involvement of women in Kazakhstan’s industrial sectors, benchmarked their roles against men's, and observed emerging trends and future perspectives.

Problem

We began by structuring and segmenting the extensive research into clear sections and mapping out a detailed work plan. Next, we presented visual style references to the client and developed a unique aesthetic that blended industrial textures, minimalist layouts, and bold emotional accents—perfectly reflecting the project’s theme.

As we worked on the presentation, we designed infographics and diagrams to translate complex data into easily understandable visuals, and used collages and rhythmic emphasis shifts to keep the audience engaged throughout.

Parallelly, we started the website, handpicking key insights from the presentation and reworking them into a format that ensures any visitor can quickly grasp the study’s findings. Finally, we adapted that content even further for Instagram, crafting ultra-condensed yet visually coherent posts tailored to social media users’ attention patterns

The main task was transforming a vast and dense body of research: spanning labor‑market analysis, statistics, and interview transcripts into audience‑appropriate formats under strict deadlines, creating a more than 50‑slide presentation, a responsive website, and a suite of Instagram posts that communicated complex findings both clearly and compellingly

Result

All deliverables were completed on schedule, with the project launching in time for International Women's Day, maximizing its impact. The 50-slide presentation was showcased at a conference backed by major Kazakhstani industrial and mining firms which publicly endorsed the initiative and expressed interest in partnering to attract female professionals.

Meanwhile, the website and Instagram campaign reached a broad audience, driving public awareness and sparking conversations about the role of women in the industrial sector across Kazakhstan.

Finally, partners and media portals that published our research as a presentation and website praised the quality of our work and distinctive style. Several requested our contact information, expressing interest in collaborating with us on their own future projects.
