A modern Asian restaurant built around the philosophy of clean eating and premium-quality ingredients.

The menu features sushi, sashimi, and hand rolls with salmon, tuna, eel, scallop and shrimp, along with signature dishes from the chef. The drink list includes a curated selection of Asian beverages —sake, fruit wines, whiskies and original cocktails crafted to complement the cuisine.

Problem

The client approached us with a unique challenge: to develop all visual communication materials based solely on an existing logo. No style guide, no brand narrative, and no clear vision of the final result.

In this context of uncertainty, the task became not just design execution, but creative direction from scratch. The restaurant's leadership had no defined expectations or visual references, which required to explore multiple directions.

Process

To define a visual direction, we began with research — analyzing restaurants with similar concepts to understand relevant aesthetics and communication strategies. This helped identify possible directions and set a foundation for experimentation.

As we gradually developed various brand elements — from menus and event materials to packaging and signage — the client tested different versions internally through team feedback and informal surveys.

Through this iterative process, we arrived at a flexible and vibrant visual style that stood out while remaining true to the brand’s concept. The final direction, marked by bold accents and a clean graphic language, strongly resonated with the restaurant's leadership and became the cornerstone of its visual identity.

The experimental, research-driven approach proved highly effective. Through visual exploration and iteration, the client gained a clear understanding of the style that best fits the restaurant’s concept.
